『ポワロちゃん』(2016)
九作目の振付作品。
関西を拠点に活動するカンパニーウミ下着の公演「ハッピーラッキーレディオダンス」(京都 Urbanguild) にゲスト振付家として参加し、ウミ下着の二人に振付。ウミ下着 中西家で可愛がられていた今は亡き犬「ポワロ」について話す中西の声を2013年に録音していたことがこの作品を創作するきっかけとなった。ウミ下着の作品を何度か観たことがあり、二人の身体は似ていると思っていた。しかし、創作を始め改めて二人の身体を観察すると、二人の身体や踊り方が異なることに気づいた。この差異を作品の中へ落とし込みたいと思った私は、身体を接触させたまま踊る反復的な振付にした。近くて遠い二人の身体、踊り、音が並列した、観る人をどこにも連れて行かない作品。

“Poirot chan” (2016)
The ninth work that I choreographed.
I choreographs Umishitagi ‘Poirot chan’ as a guest choreographer in Kyoto Urbanguild.
It is the beginning of this work that I was recording in 2013 the voice of Nakanishi who talks about the deceased dog “Poirot” now being cute in the Nakanishi family. It is an era when the social nature of the work is demanded, but I started from a very personal point of view. The body of the dancer is a medium, it is a work, already a society. The body of the two of Umi-shitagi, which has been active for many years, was far and close. So I choreographed to dance with the body sticking like an idol of the 1980s. The body of the two is near and far. And dances and sounds line up in parallel. This work does not take you anywhere.
